To Trans Mediterranean as OD-AES in March 1965, then to Zantop as N99114 in October 1973 and Pacific Alaska in February 1976. To Vortex as N11VX in October 1983, re-registered N9779N February 1987. Broken up in 1993.

United Arab Airlines operated this Ex Northwest DC-6 from October 1964 to March 1968. This airframe ended up as a sort of flight simulator in November 2005 at Germiston - Johannesburg.

Delivered 6 February 1952 to PanAm, operated also by Austral, AAXICO, Saturn, Americana de Aviación, Cessnyca and LAC Líneas Aéreas del Caribe. Ended up 4 February 1976 at Santa Marta (Colombia) ditched into the sea after departure from Simón Bolívar Airport.

Became TC-55 with Argentina -Air Force. Written off on 7th November 1968 after landing short of the runway at Mar del Plata, Argentina

Delivered to the USAF as 51-3826 in 1952. To the US Department of Agriculture as N203GB in 1975. Sold as 6Y-JKM then to Lineas Aereas Mayas as TG-SAS in 1989. Sold as N54G in 1989 then reregistered as 9Q-CGZ in 1997 and parked at Rand, South Africa. To the South African Airllines museum by 2009.

Delivered to SAS as LN-LML in 1952. Leased to Thai International as HS-TGB in 1960 and returned to SAS as SE-XBO in 1963. To Icelandair as TF-FIP in 1964 then to Delta Air Transport as OO-RVG in 1972. Reregistered as OO-VGR then to Zantop International as N3549H and converted to a DC-6BF in 1973. To Conifair as C-GBYH in 1990 and fitted with spray bars then to Northern Air Cargo as N6204U in 2002. Used for parts at Palmer, AK and scrapped around 2005.

Delivered to KLM as PH-TFL in 1952. Reregistered as PH-DFL in 1954. To Adria as YU-AFF in 1962 and preserved at Ljubljana from 1972.

Delivered to United Airlines as N37560 in 1952. Sold in 1969 and had a number of owners. Stored at Miami for many years and scrapped in 1986.

Converted to a DC-6A/B then to the USAF as 66-14667 and the Chile Air Force as 987 in 1967. Sold as N861TA in 1982. Operated by Universal Airlines from 1984 to 1992 then to Woods Air Fuel. Crashed on takeoff at Nixon Fork Mine, AK in 1998.

Delivered to KLM as PH-TFM in 1952. Reregistered as PH-DFM in 1954. Sold as N7919C in 1959. To Overseas National Airways in 1960, Reeve Aleutian Airways in 1965 and Northern Air Cargo in 1978. To Everts Air Fuel in 2005 and used as a ground engine test aircraft.

Delivered to the US Navy ar R6D-1 128431 in 1952. Leased to Flying Tiger Line as N5176V and returned as 128431 in 1955. Redesignated as a C-118B in 1962. Scrapped soon after this photo was taken.

Delivered to Sabena 6 May 1953. Damaged beyond repair at Málaga 20 December 1970.

Douglas DC-6B, C-GHLY was acquired by Conair from Delta Air Transport in Belgium. It's seen here being painted on July 6, 1975 with No. 46 on the tail prior to the installation of an external belly tank. Previous with Northwest Orient Airlines (N581) and Kar-Air in Finland (OH-KDB), it joining DAT in 1992 as OO-EVG and later OO-VGE. Conair's first DC-6Bs were ex-PWA CF-PWA (Tanker 41) and CF-PWF (tanker 42) bought in 1972 & fitted with 2,500 imp gal tanks. No. 41 crashed Aug 2, 1974, but many more DC-6s were purchased for fire contracts in BC, the NWT, Alaska etc. To Alaska in 2014 as N651CE.
