ex CF-CZS, G-ARXZ, CF-CZS. Became G-SIXA, broken up in 1985 at Manston, UK

Previously Winnipeg based as CF-CZS with Transair. See Photo ID: 196781. (My 1970 Ford Cortina 1600GT parked behind.).

Originally built for Canadian Pacific Airlines in 1957, this DC-6B was leased to British United Airways as G-ARXZ in 1962 then bought by Transair in 1969 as shown here. In 1972 they sold it to Grønlandsfly as OY-DRM (Photo ID: 198274) who sold it to Air Atlantique in 1979 as G-SIXA and they broke it up for spares in 1985.

This DC-6 was acquired by Air Atlantique a couple of months before this shot and used for spares. Here luckily still carrying the full colours of Greenlandair with whom it had operated as OY-DRM "Sululik" from 6.72, the titles were soon removed. She was originally Canadian Pacific's CF-CZS from 4.57 and had a earlier UK connection when leased to BUA 1962-64 (G-ARXZ); ended up being broken up at MSE in 4.85
