Delivered to the US Navy ar R6D-1 128431 in 1952. Leased to Flying Tiger Line as N5176V and returned as 128431 in 1955. Redesignated as a C-118B in 1962. Scrapped soon after this photo was taken.

Douglas DC-6B, C-GHLY was acquired by Conair from Delta Air Transport in Belgium. It's seen here being painted on July 6, 1975 with No. 46 on the tail prior to the installation of an external belly tank. Previous with Northwest Orient Airlines (N581) and Kar-Air in Finland (OH-KDB), it joining DAT in 1992 as OO-EVG and later OO-VGE. Conair's first DC-6Bs were ex-PWA CF-PWA (Tanker 41) and CF-PWF (tanker 42) bought in 1972 & fitted with 2,500 imp gal tanks. No. 41 crashed Aug 2, 1974, but many more DC-6s were purchased for fire contracts in BC, the NWT, Alaska etc. To Alaska in 2014 as N651CE.

Built for Northeast Airlines as N6581C in 1957. Later flew for Bellomy Lawson and Voyager 1000 Travel Club before export to El Salvador in 1972 as YS-39C with TACA and later Aerolineas De El Salvador S.A. (AESA). A familiar sight at Miami throughout the 1970s and early eighties she has been with the fire department at MSLP/SAL for over thirty years.

Delivered to Slick Airways as N90808 in 1951. To Pan American in 1958 then to the Portuguese Air Force as 6704 in 1960. Sold as N2296B in 1978 then 9Q-CPK in 1987. Scrapped in 1998.

To Trans Continental Airlines in 1978. Sold in 1993. Used for parts by Everts at Fairbanks by 1998. Fuselage to their storage yard by 2008.

Delivered to Swissair as HB-IBA in 1951. To Sterling Airways as OY-EAO in 1962. Sold as N515EA in 1973. To Sis-Q Flying Service as N999SQ in 1976 and converted to a fire bomber. To Macavia International in 1985 then to T & G Aviation in 1991 and Everts Air Fuel in 1994 and used for parts at Fairbanks. Nose section preserved. The rest of the fuselage remained in Everts storage yard.

Appears to have been scrapped around 2016.

Sold as N255N in 1964. To Pacific Western Airlines as CF-PWQ in 1965 then to Mercer Airlines as N90MA in 1971. To Aerial Applicators in 1972 and converted to a fire bomber. To Sis-Q in 1981, Macavia in 1975 then T & G Aviation in 1991 but remained in Macavia colours. Scrapped by 2006. Nose to Finland for use as a simulator.

Leased to Regency Airlines for a few months in 1977 and remained in their colours as seen in this photo. Last owner was B & B Aircraft from 1980 who stored it at Fort Lauderdale. It was scrapped there, probably not long after this photo was taken.
