N9900, seen here taking off from runway 10R in September 1974, was a 1971-build Srs 100 converted to a freighter in 1977. Went to Flying Tigers as N805FT being taken over by FedEx as N625FE; ended up as Kalitta's N709CK and and scrapped at Oscoda, MI (the old Wurtsmith AFB) in 2015

Delivered to Pan Am in 1970 and seen here taxiing for a 27R departure with the non-standard wide cheatline, the registration of this particular jumbo reminds me of an early Pan Am advertising campaign which said "Our 747 is so different we're tempted to call it the 748!". Little did they realise what a laugh they were giving anyone in the know. Retired to Marana and scrapped in 1993

"Clipper Westwind" taxies out for departure. Later "Clipper Queen of the Seas", the 747 was delivered to Pan Am April 24, 1970 and left for TWA December 1988. Evergreen International bought the aircraft in July 1989 and converted to a freighter. It was finally scrapped at Marana, AZ in 2001.
