Lionair operated a series of Caribbean charters from Manchester and Gatwick in 1988/89 for Airtours with this ex-Pan Am 747 using the Orionair AOC and crews, along with LX-FCV. Not long before going out of business, Orionair operated a third 747 in 1989 (N751PA) but that quickly gained a notorious reputation for reliability on UK services. LX-GCV was originally N770PA and joined Corse Air as F-GKLJ in 6.91.
