Following retirement SL574 flew as part of the Historic Aircraft Flight, forerunner to the BBMF, from its formation in 1957. Following a crash in September 1959 the aircraft was relegated to gate guard duties at RAF Bentley Priory where it remained until 1967 when it was moved to Henlow for static use in the Battle of Britain film. After filming finished the aircraft returned to Bentley Priory where it remained until 1986 when it moved to RAF Halton in preparation for sale to the San Diego Aerospace Museum. The aircraft is still displayed with them at time of upload.

First flown 16th March 1967 and crashed on 6th October 1972 during a post overhaul test flight from RNAY Sydenham. The aircraft crashed into a warehouse in Belfast, the cause being attributed to a faulty fuel dump valve which was being tested at the time, causing the aircraft to run out of fuel. Both crew ejected and there were no fatalities.

Seen at Benson before briefly returning to the Near East theatre again in July 1970 with 70 Sqn operating from Akrotiri. In 1974 it was re-designated as an Argosy T.1 and painted in the red and white training scheme in preparation for the cancelled Argosy T.2 trainer project. Allocated 8442M and made its last flight from Finningley to 2 SoTT at Cosford on 22 May 1975. Transferred to the RAF museum collection in April 1988.

Built for BOAC as Comet 2 G-AMXA, Sold to the Ministry of Supply in March 1955, one of four converted to C2R standard which joined the RAF with 192 Sqn at Watton replacing their Boeing Washingtons in the ELINT role. 192 Sqn was renumbered as 51 Sqn in 1958 and moved to Wyton in 1963 from where the aircraft flew until its retirement in 1974. Flown to Strathallan in August 1974 for preservation but was broken up in 1990 after the the collection was dispersed. The cockpit survives as is on display at the Al Mahatta museum in Sharjah at time of upload.
