Built and delivered to the Luftwaffe in 1944 as an H-20 variant to carry 16 paratroopers, with wing racks for supply containers. Captured in May 1945, this He-111 missed the boat to be sent to the USA for evaluation. It was ferried to England and later marked for preservation. Named after a sailing ship that had pioneered scientific research, Discovery flew its first mission in 1984 and last in 2011 for a total of 39 spaceflights, more than any other Space Shuttle or spacecraft. It spent 365 days in space and clocked more than 238 million km. Reinforced carbon-carbon on the nose cone differs in color with the tessellation of 30,757 silica tiles forming the heat shield.

On display at NMUSAF. The F-102 was the world's first supersonic all-weather jet interceptor and the USAF's first operational delta-wing aircraft, equipping more than 25 Air Defense Command (ADC) squadrons. It was designed so that its radar would guide the F-102 into an attack position and automatically fire rockets and missiles via the electronic fire-control system. This Delta Dagger of the 57th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron in Iceland was one of the first to intercept a Soviet Tu-95 over the Arctic.

On display at Gifu-Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum. As compared to A6M2 production models, several differences are visible in this replica of the prototype Zero that include a Sumitomo Hamilton constant speed two-blade propeller without spinner that would have been connected to a 780hp engine, no visible carburetor air intake in the cowling, a shallow oil cooling air intake under the engine and an antenna angled at 20 deg.
