Has a Hawkins & Powers badge on the fin, and a "Museum of Flight and Aerial Firefighting" sticker below the cockpit. Carried warbird markings on the left side (as 434520/BC-520/K "Lu Lu"). Became part of the Lauridsen Collection at Buckeye, AZ in Oct 2006.

A former Air Spray air tanker, VH-VNI arrived in Australia in 2006 as a warbird project. It remained registered in November 2018 but as can be seen from the photo, it has had its engines and some significant airframe components removed.

Ex USAF 44-35440, CF-MSB and N6838D. Preserved wearing false Cuban Air Force Markings.

In total 2,502 A-26 Invaders and its derivatives were produced seeing service in WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. The A-26C on display was acquired by the NMUSAF in Sept. 1957 and is painted as 'Dream Girl' (port nose art) representing a B-26C used during the Korean War by the 34th Bomb Squadron flying night intruder missions.

It has been reported that this aircraft participated in the ill fated Bay of Pigs invasion.

Between 04.55 and 10.57, Fairey Aviation overhauled 96 Invaders after service in Europe. 12 went to the French A.F. and the remainder returned to the US for service with National Guard units. 435691 is landing at Ringway after a test flight. It went to the Cuban A.F. as FAEC 919 in 1956.

Former Hawkins & Powers B-26C was purchased at the August 2006 Greybull auction by Hans Lauridsen.

The aircraft is named 'Lu Lu' on its nose and wears code letter 'K' on its fin tip.

Originally 44-35893 this Invader went on to the civil registry June 1958 as N4812E. Bought by the Rock Island Oil & Refining Co for a Monarch 26 conversion that never happened. In 1974 Conair brought it into Canada as C-GHCC for fire fighting. Sold to Air Spray in 1982, it was lost in a hangar fire October 16, 2000 at Red Deer. Sections of the aircraft remain in the field north of Air Spray's hangar there.
