This Invader is now painted to represent a night intruder used during the Korean War by the 34th BS. My 1973 photo here

Built as an A-26C-45-DT by Douglas at Tulsa and delivered to the USAF in May 1945, this Invader served with a Base Unit in Grenada from September that year. Redesignated B-26C in 1948, it went on to operate with the Louisiana, Virginia and New York ANGs before being flown to the museum in September 1957

In total 2,502 A-26 Invaders and its derivatives were produced seeing service in WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. The A-26C on display was acquired by the NMUSAF in Sept. 1957 and is painted as 'Dream Girl' (port nose art) representing a B-26C used during the Korean War by the 34th Bomb Squadron flying night intruder missions.
