Two wrecks dumped near the Air Spray hangar. The aircraft on the right is C-GHCC (Tanker 31), which was destroyed in a hangar fire at Red Deer on 16 Oct 2000. Only this rear fuselage survived. The one on the left is CF-EZX "The Lost Invader", which crashlanded in a field near Grande Prairie, AB on 29 June 2000.
Originally 44-35893 this Invader went on to the civil registry June 1958 as N4812E. Bought by the Rock Island Oil & Refining Co for a Monarch 26 conversion that never happened. In 1974 Conair brought it into Canada as C-GHCC for fire fighting. Sold to Air Spray in 1982, it was lost in a hanger fire October 16, 2000 at Red Deer. Sections of the aircraft remain in the field north of Air Spray's hangar therer.
