For me, the star of this collection, an original Sabena S-58, later transferred to the Belgian AF as B-12. It was sold as D-HAUD to Meravo Helicopters and after withdrawal was displayed on the Frankfurt airport observation deck for many years. Over recent times it has been restored to its original livery, although for some reason the full registration OO-SHL is only carried on the port side

Ex-USMC HUS-1 Seahorse on display at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum. The type was powered by a 1,525 hp Wright R-1820-84 Cyclone radial engine. Designated H.4 by the RTAF, these helicopters were operated by 63 Sqn from Don Muang, 31 Sqn and 33 Sqn from Korat. Initially provided under the US Military Assistance Program (MAP) in 1962, they were used for COIN operations during the Vietnam War. A total of 65 were delivered and were flown till 1976.

Fromerly known as the Swabian Farmers and Technology Museum in Seifertshofen, the Kiemele museum has this former Royal Netherlands Navy Seabat on outside display. The helicopter is not in a great state unfortunately, although its markings are still visible. It has been here for several decades!

Built under Navy contract as 150779, this S-58 was delivered to the Israeli Air Force via West Germany as part payment for war reparations in 1963. Traded back to Sikorsky in 1972, it was registered N4377S. Sold in Canada in 1979 as C-GRJD to Nahanni Helicopters, it's is pictured with Union Helicopters. Sold to Solly Construction in 1993 as N70666, the registration changed to N703DSC in 1995. Acquired by a new owner in 2018, it works out of Brewster WA at the time of uploading. It's among several vintage helicopters used to dry cherries after rain which keep the fruit's skin from splitting.

Delivered to the US Navy as HSS-1N 148943 in 1961. Redesignated as an SH-34J in 1962. Transferred to the USAF as an HH-34J in 1971. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1974. To Luke AFB for preservation in 1978. Moved to the Hill Heritage Museum, UT in 1987 then to the March Museum, CA in 2013.
