Ex-USMC HUS-1 Seahorse on display at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum. The type was powered by a 1,525 hp Wright R-1820-84 Cyclone radial engine. Designated H.4 by the RTAF, these helicopters were operated by 63 Sqn from Don Muang, 31 Sqn and 33 Sqn from Korat. Initially provided under the US Military Assistance Program (MAP) in 1962, they were used for COIN operations during the Vietnam War. A total of 65 were delivered and were flown till 1976.
