Built around 1941 as a C-53 for the USAAF with serial 41-20101. It was later sold on as XT-90, N8262C and then N26H. Registered as N39DT on 04 Apr 1980. It crashed on 28 Jul 1987. Info from aerialvisuals.ca The damage to the airframe was substantial. The cargo flight departed Laredo International Airport, TX (LRD/KLRD), United States of America and was destined for Ciudad Camargo Airport, Mexico. Daks taxiing out in the late afternoon for their display at Flying Legends 2011 Airshow. This C-53D Skytrooper was taken on strength by the USAAF as 42-68823. It was transferred to England and then went to France in 1944 as "Little Egypt," serving as transport for Maj Gen Ralph Royce, CG of First TAF (Provisional). After the war the aircraft went to Finnair, being used by Finnish President Kekkonen. The Dak was sold by the Finnish Air force to Dakota Norway, which flew it to Sandefjord in May 1985.

There are several aircraft along the runway at Pucallpa. The DC-3 is OB-1345, identified by the Peruvian flag in the tail and the cheatline has been compared to older images of OB-1345. Behind the DC-3 we can see a dumped fuselage. It looks like a Peruvian Army An32 in the colors they had about 20 years ago. While all those An32s have been noted in the newer c/s, exept for EP-837 that crashed in Puerto Esperanza Airport (SPEP), Peru on 4 April 2004.
