The Museum restored this Vertol 44 as No 9592 serving with No. 103 Rescue Unit at Greenwood in the 1960s. Built in March 1960, it later flew at RCAF Chatham until retired in November 1971. Sold to Nahanni Helicopters in 1973 as CF-BSG, it was later abandoned in Fort Simpson, NWT and salvaged by Garth Walker of Comox, BC c.1980 who planned to use it for logging. The museum obtained the rear cabin of 9592 from collector Byron Reynolds in Alberta and later acquired US Army H-21 53-4365 for its front cabin and other parts since a snowplow accidentally crushed the front cabin of 9592 in BC.

This Lockheed Neptune served with the US Navy from 1960 to 1980 as 147969. After retirement from Fleet Composite Squadron Eight (VC-8) based at NAS Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico the aircraft was flown to CFB Greenwood, Nova Scotia on Aug. 27, 1980 to join the Greenwood Military Aviation Museum. Painted as the first of 25 RCAF Neptunes delivered in 1955 to replace the Avro Lancaster. California Airframe Parts Co. bought the surviving RCAF Neptunes for parts in 1970, but three were sold to Flying Firemen in Victoria, BC to be air tankers. These aircraft were never operated in Canada and sold in the US.

Canadair delivered this Silverstar to the RCAF in October 1953. It came to Camp Borden circa 1961 as an instructional trainer. After retirement, the aircraft was displayed at Royal Canadian Air Force Association Barrie, ON in the Red Knight color scheme. Although this aircraft was never a Red Knight aerobatic display aircraft, the colors endured when it moved back to Camp Borden for display in 2009.

After many months of waiting, an example of the new Kingfisher SAR aircraft showed up today. It flew CFB Comox (CYQQ) to Kelowna (CYLW) low approach, to Penticton (CYYF) low approach, here for a low approach then back to Comox. Call-sign is "Bluenose (BNZ) 516". It will be nice to see one landing like the Buffaloes that it replaced used to do.

Taken on strength by the Royal Canadian Air Force on June 8, 1954, this T-Bird was placed in storage at the Aerospace Maintenance Development Unit Detachment CFD Mountain View, ON February 20, 1969. The trainer was sold to the Royal Canadian Air Force Association 424 Wing, Cornwall ON circa 1972 and placed on display. While the aircraft had been painted in the (then) new Canadian Armed Forces scheme when acquired, the legion added an "R" in front of the "CAF" titles and replaced the serial with the original RCAF one on the tail.
