The Fleetwings (officially Kaiser-Fleetwings by now) Model 44 was a dive bomber designed for the US Navy to replace the Curtiss Helldiver. Here the prototype is returning from an early (possibly first) test flight which took place on 12 April 1945 piloted by William H. Engle. It is landing on one of the new paved runways at Fleetwings Field which the USN had built in support of the BTK-1 project. The engine was a P&W R-2800 giving 2100 hp and a novel design feature was an exhaust pump engine cooling system. This proved unsatisfactory and was eventually replaced with conventional cowl flaps. Evening arrival of one of the two Super Hornets at Aero India 2019. Wearing the tail code 'NF', this aircraft belongs to VFA-27 "Royal Maces" that traces its history to 1967 as VA-27. Based at Iwakuni, Japan, the squadron is part of Carrier Air Wing 5, and when embarked operates from USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76).

Seen in storage, blocked by CC-CKZ, a Beech 56TC Baron, 489 is a Beech C-45H.

ex US Navy Bu0719 to Chile in October 1943 as 500. It was sold and used until 1980 as a glider tug by Santiago Gliders Club and Valparaiso Air Club. Registered as CC-DME. Museo Nacional Aeronáutico y del Espacio, preserved and on display in Fuerza Aerea de Chile colors, code 001.

Israel was the largest export customer for the Skyhawk. In IAF service, the Skyhawk was named as the Ayit (Eagle). Israel purchased an incredible number of 217 A-4s, plus another 46 that were transferred from US units in Operation Nickel Grass to compensate for large losses during the Yom Kippur War. The extended tailpipe was an Israeli modification. On 13 December 2015, all remaining IAF Skyhawks were retired from service. This 715 (former BuNO 159552) was delivered to the IDF in 1974. The extended tailpipe was an Israeli modification, the aircraft was then designated as AjitM.
