An UH-60A Yanshuf 3 at the platform of home base Hatzerim. The Israeli purchased ten former US Army UH-60As in August 1994 that replaced the Bell 212. This 721 is former 78-22997. It was delivered to the IAF as 621, but re-serialled.
The IAF used the Fouga Magister, locally designated as Tzukit, as basic jet trainer. This one was seen at the sun shed covered flightline of home base Hatzerim. The Tzukits were withdrawn from use within the IAF by the T-6A Texan II by June 2010.
After pilots graduated with the Flying Training School at Hatzerim, and if they are assigned to fly the Black Hawk, they will transition to this type with 123 squadron at Hatzerim. This 536 is FMS serial 02-26937 and was bought in an order of 24 S-70A-55s.
