K25 slide scan. Built 1953 as KC-97G 52-2695 for USAF, later redesignated KC-97L, retired to MASDC 1977. Dross Metals N29866 1982, Hawkins and Powers 1982. Initially remained at Tucson, flown to Greybull in 1992 and placed in further store. Has tail of 52-2680 fitted, most probably for the ferry flight to Greybull. Aircraft still keeps its auxiliary General Electric J-47 Turbojets.

K25 slide scan. Built 1953 as KC-97G 52-2695 for USAF, later redesignated KC-97L, retired to MASDC 1977. Dross Metals N29866 1982, Hawkins and Powers 1982. Initially remained at Tucson, flown to Greybull in 1992 and placed in further store. Has tail of 52-2680 fitted, most probably for the ferry flight to Greybull. Aircraft still keeps its auxiliary General Electric J-47 Turbojets.

It was on loan in flying condition to the Flying Lady Ranch Museum when this slide was taken.

Glynn County, GA, Sheriff seized the plane; kept it for over six years until it was sold. 2/80: Kalamazoo Aviation History Museum. Restored for static display '88-'90.
