Bought by Channel Airways from the Southend Municipal Flying Centre 4th June 1964 for operation by its subsidiary, East Anglian Flying Club at Ipswich, with whom it operated until 2nd March 1972 after the parent company went into receivership. Still current (Dec.2021).

Taken on charge by the RAF as NP176 10th Feb.1944. After military service it was bought by East Anglian Flying Services and registered to them as G-ANGM 23rd Nov.1953, for operation by its subsidiary, East Anglian Flying Club at Ipswich. After its C.of A.expired 25th Oct.1957 it was stored at Southend until taken to Ipswich by road in 1959. It was cancelled on 22nd Feb.1963 as PWFU and languished in a derelict condition at Ipswich for years until it was burnt late-August 1970 with the remaining parts (engine and undercarriage legs) being taken away by road on 4th Sept.1970.

According to the US military guru Joe Baugher: 44-34768 converted to Grand Central A-26 N4852V. Fitted with tail-mounted magnetometer for surveying by Coastways & Associates in Europe 1966 and then in SE Asia. To Air Asia in 1967 and used for training in Taiwan, scrapped c. 1972. The text on the nose reads "On lease to Hunting Geology and Geophysics Ltd. London."

The most stylish Dove to grace Australian skies, with the City Centre Air Taxi Service logo on the tail. Damaged landing at Lovely Banks, Victoria on November 17, 1968. Flown back to Moorabbin where an inspection revealed extensive wing damage. Written off. Displayed at various locations.
