This aircraft was built by Fleet Aircraft in Fort Erie, Ontario, and first flew on July 9, 1942. It served with No. 4 Training Command in Regina under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan until July 1944. From 1944 to 1962, it was stored in RCAF depots, mainly in Western Canada.
