Originally N991GP delivered to Golden Pacific Airlines May 1, 1969, this Beech 99 came to Canada with Pem Air from 1978 to 1981. Bearskin Airlines flew it from July 1981 until October 2007 when it was sold to Carib Air as V2-DOM. Last with Jamaican Air Shuttle as 6Y-JSI from 2009 until stored by January 2010. Bought by National Aerotech Aviation in 2014, it was stored at Hampton, GA.
Built as 42-24340 this C-47 was delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force with serial 663 in September 1943. It went to Alberta Northern Airways in 1973 and was leased or sold to various airlines until Pem-Air flew it until 1979. To the USA as N211Q, it was sold to SAEP Colombia (Servicios Aéreos Especializados en Transportes Petroleros) becoming HK-3031. The aircraft suffered a non-fatal crash returning to the airport after an engine failure and burned out at Bogotá on February 8, 1986.
Air Canada introduced the 747 into Canada in 1971 with 3 aircraft delivered. This fourth one was delivered in July 1973 and is pictured in the final days of this original color scheme. It was retired by the airline in 1998.
Nordair leased this 737 from Sabena several times as OO-SDE and as C-GNDX. Operating between October and May mainly to continue Sabena's Brussels - Montreal flights onto the USA, it also rotated into Nordair's regular schedule.
A quiet time for this DC-9 that was delivered to Eastern Airlines June 25, 1968. Sold to Aeron Aviation Resources after Eastern ceased operations in January 1991, the aircraft was leased to Midway Airlines from July to November 1991. It was stored at Mojave CA until sold to Northwest Airlines in July 1992. Northwest flew it (except for a short two month storage storage at Marana, AZ in September - November 2008) into the merger with Delta Airlines, who finally withdrew it from service in January 2010.
After taking delivery of five 747-100s, Air Canada took delivery of C-GAGA March 1975, their first 747-200 Combie. It's pictured as the fleet was undergoing a color scheme change and has the titles in red instead of the old black, but has yet to get the updated color scheme. The aircraft was withdrawn from service in 1999, stored at Marana, AZ and later broken up.
