Assigned to the Fleet Air Arm Historic Flight. Built for the Royal Navy as LS326 in 1943. To Fairey as G-AJVH in 1947. Back to the Royal Navy as LS326 in 1960 and stationed at Yeovilton since then. Transferred to the Fly Navy Heritage Trust as G-AJVH in 2021. Still marked as LS326.

Participating in the 2016 Shuttleworth Fly Navy Air Show at Old Warden, in colours representing a machine of 820 Squadron at the time of the attack on the Bismark in 1941. The aircraft itself saw wartime service in the Mediterranean theatre.

Previously used at RNEC Manadon, Plymouth for ground instruction as A2001. Preserved by FAAM since 1962.

HS618 in the original FAA Museum hangar. Wearing a fictitious serial to represent the aircraft of Lieutenant Commander Eugene Esmond VC of 825 Sqdn. Subsequently marked as "V6105" and current in 2022 marked as "P4139".

Built in 1944 for the Royal Navy and transferred to the RAF with 119 Squadron in 1945. Stored at Lambeth until 1986 when it was moved to Duxford, with restoration starting in 1998 and completed around 2006, when it was returned to display in RAF overall black.

The Royal Navy based Swordfish in Canada for training. This aircraft was with the No.1 Naval Air Gunnery School. After the war the surviving Swordfish were given to the Canadian Navy ahead of the arrival of its first carrier. They served only briefly. Photo from: Library and Archives Canada

Displayed as P4139, a Fairey Swordfish I of 813 Naval Air Squadron, this is really HS618 and has previously been displayed at various times as V6105 and W5984. HS618 was built under license by Blackburn and delivered to 834 Naval Air Squadron in May 1943 where it went on to serve on the Escort Carrier HMS 'Hunter' in the north Atlantic. During bad weather a Seafire broke loose in the hangar deck and struck HS618 and it was written off, although it continued to serve as an instructional airframe.

The aircraft is a 'long term' restoration project with much of it stored in crates.

The oldest surviving airworthy Swordfish in the world, built in 1941 by Blackburn Aircraft. She was operated by the RN's Mediterranean Fleet but returned to Fairey's Stockport factory for refurbishment during 1942/43 before being transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy in 1944 for use in the training role. Post war she spent time in the reserve before going into private hands and was purchased by Sir William Roberts for his Strathallan Collection, arriving in August 1977. Bought by British Aerospace in 1990, over the next three years she was restored to flying condition and gifted to the RNHF.
