She was sold in 1982, becoming N3125S, but spent years in open storage in Texas before Kenmore Air picked her up in 1988. She was converted to PT6A turbine power in 1992.

Owned by Comanche Air at the time, but now privately owned. This Cat was part of a nice propliner line-up at Ephrata, but the aircraft were parked very close together. The wingtip on the left belongs to a Beech 18, the one on the right to a DC-3.

There was talk of a slight chance of bailing out while diving at the target, but even the odds of clearing the jet intake were thought to be minimal. Code-named Reichenberg after the annexed Czech town of Liberec, the Fi 103R scheme was aborted as many German senior officers didn't believe in suicide missions. However, some 175 examples were built and this one is apparently real.
