The aircraft was bought by Hawkair Aviation in 1994 after TPA's bankruptcy in 1993. On April 24, 1997 C-FTPA ground looped on landing at Bronson Creek, collapsing the right main gear and crushing the fuselage when it went into a ditch. Serviceable parts were removed and the remains buried on site.

After Air Canada purchased 85% of Air BC in 1987, the airline solidified it's presence as a major regional carrier with additional DHC-8s and later BAe-146s. This Dash 8 was delivered in August 1986 but leased back to DHC for short demonstrations to Air Ontario, Henson Airlines and Metro Express Airlines. Back with Air BC March 1987, it remained in the fleet (Air BC / Air Canada Regional / Air Canada Jazz) until retired in 2016. The aircraft was stored at North Bay, ON and scrapped in the summer of 2016.

Originally P-51D 44-74978, this Mustang was last assigned to the Texas Air National Guard before it was transferred to the Costa Rican Air Force in 1955. It was recovered from Central America to become N6169U in 1964. By 1973 it was re-registered N74978 before damaged in a hangar fire in 1988. Rebuilt as a TF-51D and restored by Cal Pacific Airmotive , the aircraft was awarded the Best Fighter award in the Warbird category at AirVenture 2022.
