Tame's first F-28, named Ciudad de Loja overran runway 35 while trying to depart to Tulcán. There were no serious injuries nor any lives lost, but the airplane was written off. Photo was taken the same morning, about an hour after the accident when passengers and crew were secured. Scanned from my 35mm collection.

This airport has a very challenging approach between mountains and required a smaller, more agile plane. The plane was written off during a rejected takeoff on January 17, 2003. It was later painted white and stored at the Mariscal Sucre air force base in Quito. It apparently was scrapped when the old airport shut down. Former registration PH-ZCH.

slide scan from the NK collection. - Linjeflyg operated mainly within Scandinavia, only now and than their aircraft were seen outside - here in old colours on a ski-charter in a snowless scenery at the old Munich-Riem airport in January in 1974. The small airliner finally flew with SAS and was retired & broken up at Arlanda in 1997.
