A regular vistor during the mid and late eighties ZAS initially flew day old chicks, later hatching eggs and still later general cargo to Cairo.

552 ACW commander aircraft

This 707 was originally delivered to Pan Am as N457PA in October 1967. It flew for about one year for Pelican Cargo (G-BPAT) from June 1978 then joining Zambia Airways (9J-AEQ). In April 1986 it went to National Air Charters (also as 9J-AEQ) and then Trans Arabian Air Transport (ST-ALM) in Fenruary 1989. It was leased to AHK from May 1989 until October 1992 but re-registered ST-AMF upon its return to TAAT. The plane was damaged by fire during an aborted take-off at Jeddah (JED) in January 1994 but was repaired and returned to service. It has been stored at Khartoum (KHT) since September 2007.

This 707 was originally delivered to American as N8431 in April 1969, later joining Denver Ports of Call (also for some time with Skyworld titles) as N708PC. From January 1990 it started flying with MEA and is pictured taxying in after arriving from Beirut (BEY)but had been stored by MEA by April 1998. It later plane joined Gulf Falcon/Sky Avaition as 5Y-GFH but seems to have only been stored at Sharjah (SHJ), where it is presumed to have been scrapped.
