Delivered to the USAAF as 41-7850 in 1942. To NC22428 in 1946 then to Avianca as C-124 in 1947. Later reregistered as HK-124. Used by a number of operators. To Lacol in 1988. They ceased operations in 1996 and it was stored at Bogota. Still there in 2008.

Training aid for the Civil Aviation University of China since 1986 and still present in 2021.

The Aeroplane Car Company was a Brisbane car yard that used VH-AEQ as a promotion marked as VH-QLD. The DC-3 has subsequently been stored at locations in rural Victoria and most recently southern New South Wales. The current owner is Jason Burgess. VH-AEQ was withdrawn from use in 1971. A Douglas built aircraft with Russian Shvetsov ASh-62IR engines. Believed to be the aircraft later displayed as 4766, 466. and by 2010 displayed as 476650 to represent the aircraft in which Mao flew in to attend the Chongqing negotiations in 1945.

Delivered to United Airlines as NC18105 in July 1937 and transferred to the USAAF as 42-56100 between May 1942 and May 1944. Returned to United and later flew with several airlines before joining Naples-PBA as N43PB in 1979 and Aero Libertad as XA-RPO in September 1989. The aircraft was moved to Bahias de Huatulco International Airport, near Oaxaca in December 1997 and painted in 2016 for display by a local artist.

Ex 42-68832 and NC19453 with United Airlines from December 1945 until June 1956. Flew as N30W, N78W and N130W with several corporate owners until sold in Colombia while at Barranquilla in 1975. Flown by LANSA and Calamar as HK-3462X and later as HK-3462 by TCA, Aliansa and Transportes Aereos del Ariari. Crashed and destroyed after take off from Miraflores on June 2005 while on a military charter carrying troops to San Jose del Guaviare and Villavicencio.

Originally delivered 1942 to USAAF as C-47-DL with reg 41-38745. Then having regs NC75406, N75406 with Aramco. N721A with Meridian Air Cargo and Viking International Airlines. 1982 converted to BT-67 by Basler (cn 17) 1993 May to Fuerza Aérea de El Salvador as FAES119. W/O November 9, 2000 after having brake problems on landing and ran into a tree on Chilanga-Los Comandos Airport (MSLD).

New delivered in August 1942 to the US Airforce (41-18541). After WW2 over to Canadian Pacific Airlines (CF-CPW). In 1957 to Trans Air Ltd (CF-TAS) and in 1974 to Air Caravane. In 1979 re-registred C-FTAS and in 1985 over to Air Inuït. In October '85 sold to Classic Air (HB-ISB) and painted in the old Swissair livery. In November 2011 transferred to Global Jet Training and stored at Memmingen, Germany

Entered active service with RCAF as 662 in September 1943. Became 502 with the Muscat and Oman Air Force in July 1969. Sold to a private individual in Norway in September 1972 and operated by Bergen Air Transport as LN-TVA until October 1974 when it was stored pending sale. Overhauled and sold to Norwegian Overseas Airways in August 1975. Flown to Canada in October 1975 when this photo was taken on a fuel stop at Prestwick en route to Canada, next stop Iceland. Stored as LN-TVA at Winnipeg, MB between December 1975 and sometime in 1978. Cancelled from the Norwegian register 21 May 1979 and sold as C-GTSA, later HK-2666X and HK-26666.
