Operated by several companies in Colombia including SAEP, TAGUA, Alicol, Sadelca and finally Viarco. Withdrawn from use at Villavicencio for many years, in 2018 the aircraft was transported to Tiuma Theme Park 15k to the southwest of Villavicencio and placed on top of a tall steel tower. It entered civil service as F-RASV, F-RAZD, F-RBFB, F-RAOE, F-RASE and F-SCOD before sold to Israel on 27 January 1967. With the Israel Defense Force Air Force, the Dakota was serialled 037/4X-FNW and became an Electronic Intelligence aircraft. The sneaky Dak was later reserialled to 042. It served 120sq and 122sq and was the very last operational Dakota of the Israeli Air Force.
