Pictured is Quebec's first CL-215 delivered in 1968. A long career with the province, it was sold to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2004. More recently, the aircraft was registered to Buffalo Airways on August 28, 2018.

Starting up for another mission, this magnificent fire bomber was completing her nineteenth year of service with T & G at the photo date. She began her career in 1957 with Delta airlines and received that company's classic livery again after the summer of '99. Ten years later I saw her like that down south with International Air Response at Coolidge, AZ, where she still resides.
