Became G-BXDM on 28 February 1997, and cancelled on 11 July 2009 as sold to a French owner, registered as F-AZQM.

Operated by RAE Farnborough, and scrapped there after being written off in a fatal crash at Farnborough on 14 February 1975.

Retired from RAF service in January 1976 and stored at Kemble. Became G-BEMZ (Air Faisal) on 11 February 1977, to UAE as A6-HMS (Gaylan Air Cargo) on 9 April 1980, and restored as G-BEMZ on 3 April 1981. Registration cancelled on 19 October 1982 as sold in Belgium, and registered 9Q-CGP with Katale Air Transport. Scrapped in Zaire, date not known.

The prototype/first production aircraft, registered as G-ASKE on 10 July 1963 and transferred to XR362 on 20 December 1963. CAA records show that it was restored as G-ASKE on 14 June 1965, registered to the Minister of Aviation, and returned to XR362 on 14 July 1966. It was retired from RAF service in 1976 and stored at RAF Kemble until registered as G-BEPE on 30 March 1977 with HeavyLift Cargo. Cancelled on 1 March 1994 as destroyed after being scrapped at Southend in February 1994.

Sold to the Austrian Air Force as 8T-CB, and delivered on 18 February 2004. Still active in 2022.

Later used for ground instruction at Halton and Cosford as 9129M from 1992 to 2005. Sold as N294XW on 11 January 2007, and stored with Everett Community College Aviation School sometime after 2016.

After withdrawal from service, this Nimrod, by then an MR2P, was delivered to Manchester on 21 April 2010 for preservation.

Later upgraded to GR3. Stored at St Athan from 9 May 1989. The nose section has been preserved at Hitchin, Herts, and used as a flight simulator.

This was the last Shackleton Mk3 in RAF service, and was flown from St Mawgan to Henlow on 23 September 1971 to be preserved for the RAF Museum. It was however scrapped in July 1975 without ever going on display.

Operated by various test and experimental units, during which it flew with a Napier Naiad turboprop engine in the nose and later as G-37-1 with a Rolls Royce Tyne engine in the nose. In the latter configuration it was displayed at the 1956 Farnborough Air Show at which it made a flypast with all four Merlins shut down and feathered and powered by just the Tyne engine. It was later fitted with a radome test nose. It made its last operational flight 21 April 1961 and was SOC 3 May 1961. It was delivered to the Fire Fighting School at Stansted 27 June 1961 and was burnt there sometime in 1966/67.

Ex TA719, registration (G-ASKC) cancelled on 3 September 1964 as permanently withdrawn from use. Initially preserved with the Skyfame Collection, moved to Duxford in 1978 and now preserved in the IWM's Airspace hangar in 3 CAACU markings.

Preserved at the main entrance of Waterbeach Barracks. From May 1955 to July 1959 56 Squadron was stationed at Waterbeach, operating the Hunter F.5 and later the Hunter F.6.

Delivered to the RAF as XS731 in 1965. Sold as N19XY in 2011 and stored at Kemble. Moved to a private location near Marlborough, Wilts in 2015.

Delivered to the RAF as XS714 in 1966. Withdrawn from use at Finningley in 1994 due to corrosion. To Manston Fire School in 1995. Destroyed by 2013.

Delivered to the RAF as XS729 in 1965. Used as a ground trainer marked as 9275M at Cosford from 1997 To Everett Aero, Sproughton in 2007 then to a technical scool at Vilanova I La Geltru, Spain in 2009.

Delivered to the RAF as XS731 in 1965. Sold as N19XY in 2011 and stored at Kemble. Moved to a private location near Marlborough, Wilts in 2015.
