At the Jamestown Fly-In & Air Spectacular 2012, Day Two

This plane is a new reproduction build by Flug + Werk GmbH from the ground up using many original dies, plans and other information from WWII. Werk numbers continued from where Focke-Wulf left off, with the new Fw 190s being labeled 'Fw 190 A-#/N' (N for Nachbau 'replica'). This example is part of the Planes of Fame museum and wears the scheme of Luftwaffe ace Oskar Bosch.

The Martin MB-2 was the first US designed bomber produced in large numbers and became the Air Service's primary multi-engine bomber until replaced by the Keystone bombers of the late 1920s. The Martin MB-2 designers incorporated an interesting element, since its large wingspan made it difficult to store in a hangar, the aircraft had hinged wings No original MB-2 exists rather the reproduction on display at the NMUSAF was built using original Martin drawings and completed in 2002.

Ex III-JG77. Captured and flown by 1426 Flight as RN228 during late WW2. Stored at RAF Henlow and later flown as G-USTV. Now at Hendon.

Built by Gloster Aircraft in January 1940, serving No. 607 fighter squadron from April 1940 and later used as an advanced trainer until retirement in August 1943. Displayed in Horse Guards Parade. Now in the RAF Museum at Hendon.

Operated by the based 176 Fighter Squadron of the Wisconsin Air National Guard.

Unit: 820 Sqn. Later converted to HAS6. Ditched and sank near Orsay Lighthouse, UK, November 6, 1993.
