Ex N7226D. Registered 18 April 1957. A frequent visitor to Southend. Damaged beyond repair in a landing accident at Hilversum 12 April 1967, when it landed long and overshot the runway. Cancelled 14 March 1969.

Damaged beyond repair 6 November 1992 after runway excursion and collision with HS.748 9N-ACW at Pokhara.

First flew 17 June 1955 as VP-TBK for BWIA. Reg'd G-APTA -7 March 1959, to Bahamas A/W as VP-BBW 21 June 1961. To Channel A/W as G-APTA 16 Dec.1964, leased to Bahamas A/W as VP-BBW 30 Oct.1965, returned to Southend off-lease -1 May 1967, restored to Channel A/W as G-APTA 28 June 1967. Leased to BKS Air Transport 17 July 1967 - 10 Oct.1967. Taken out of service 30 Sept.1968. Progressively scrapped at Southend January 1970 and completely gone by -1 Feb.1970. Cancelled 24 Feb.1970 as 'Destroyed'.

Leased by Gambia Air Shuttle from STH sales 1989, returned 1990. Leased briefly by BAF before being withdrawn Southend. Dismantled 1992 and transported to Zomergem, Belgium for display at Club Kokorico. According to satellite images still there in 2023.

Built 1948. To KLM -5 Nov.1948, initially as PH-TED, later PH-CED. To Deutsche Flugdienst as D-BESI -9 Dec.1957, to Condor Flugdienst -1 Nov.1961. Sold 30 Oct.1962, later as N2403Z to Ozark Airlines and as N8329C with Mohawk Airlines and several subsequent operators, the last being Asiatic International Airways, operating out of Singapore-Seletar. While flying a local test flight out of there on 17 Sept.1975, it suffered engine failure and ditched in the water of the Straits of Johore, some 400m short of the Seletar runway, to which it was trying to return. Marks N8329C cancelled 19 Dec.1975.

Arrived Southend August 1987 for extensive overhaul and repaint lasting until April 1988 however damaged beyond repair skiding off runway on landing Tangier 23 November 1988.

Registered -4 June 1948. While on a local flight from Southend on 16 March 1958, it collided in mid-air with Auster 5 G-APAH (also airborne from Southend) over Danbury, Essex and crashed at Butts Green, West Hanningfield, Essex and was destroyed, killing the passenger. The pilot died later from his injuries. (The Auster landed safely in a field near Sandon, Essex and is still registered today, albeit with Permit expired -4 October 2021). G-AKKI was cancelled -9 May 1958 as 'Destroyed'.

Ladeco CC-CYF 1990, withdrawn 1994, initially preserved at Los Cerillos but later used as a police trainer.
