Designed by Theo Slot, the one-off S.12 was the first aircraft built by De Schelde, better known as a shipyard. It looks good but erroneous sawing had weakened the wooden wing structure and the three-seeater could not be flown with any passengers. The registration referred to owner Klaas de Geus van den Heuvel who was kind enough to take delivery of the aircraft nevertheless. Photo from: Gemeentearchief Vlissingen
