Built 1948. To KLM -5 Nov.1948, initially as PH-TED, later PH-CED. To Deutsche Flugdienst as D-BESI -9 Dec.1957, to Condor Flugdienst -1 Nov.1961. Sold 30 Oct.1962, later as N2403Z to Ozark Airlines and as N8329C with Mohawk Airlines and several subsequent operators, the last being Asiatic International Airways, operating out of Singapore-Seletar. While flying a local test flight out of there on 17 Sept.1975, it suffered engine failure and ditched in the water of the Straits of Johore, some 400m short of the Seletar runway, to which it was trying to return. Marks N8329C cancelled 19 Dec.1975. This photo is copyright © Mike Cain, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
