This aircraft was built in Akron, OH and allocated the BuNo 14862. After serving with the Royal Navy it arrived at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in 1963 and is now on display in Hall 2. In 2000 work was carried out to remove all exterior layers of paint and so this scheme is the original factory markings.

This magnificent aircraft entered service in July 1945 and flew primarily with the Naval Air Reserve before being retired from service. She is now on display in the colours of VMF-214 WWII ace Gregory 'Pappy' Boyington at the super National Naval Aviation Museum.

This Corsair was built by Goodyear in Akron, OH during April 1945 and assigned to the USN serving aboard USS Intrepid. Afer the war she was transferred to the Naval Reserve and stationed at NAS Sand Point. On July 29, 1950 she ditched in Lake Washington following a non-fatal midair collision with another Corsair and was not recovered until 1983. Post-restoration she is now on display in the Museum of Flight although on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Pensacola, FL.

Fleet Air Arm Corsair IV at the head of a line-up of aircraft awaiting delivery by the based 14 Ferry Pool, Air Transport Auxiliary. Behind are two Coastal Command Beaufighter strike aircraft and a Halifax B.III for Bomber Command. Obtained from an ATA pilot over 50 years ago.
