Composite aircraft with some parts from N47DD (ex 45-49192) cn 399-55731. This crashed in February 9, 1980, but was rebuilt using parts from yet another airframe and eventually became G-THUN and N147PF. Name carried on rear fuselage, left side only.

'Ferocious Frankie' is pictured taking part in the Balbo finale during Flying Legends 2011. The aircraft will follow Sea Fury WX281 and break to left and come around to land.

this aircraft crashed in 2001 killing its pilot. After a long restoration it's in the air again.

The aircraft has acquired its previous USAF serial on the fin, 268823. It carries unusual Royal Norwegian AF / RAF No. 20 Transport Squadron markings, only briefly carried in Norway between June 1945 and Feb 1946. This Squadron, unrelated to the RAF's 20 Squadron, was a continuation of the Luftwaffe's 20 Transportfliegergeschwader. Formally controlled by the RAF, this was the first step in re-establishing civil aviation in Norway post-war, using several DC-3s and Lockheed L-18 Lodestars. In 1946 the DC-3s were transferred to DNL, Norway's main pre-war airline, one of the predecessors of SAS.

This classic was static on the flightline in 1995. It is under rebuild to flying condition, but far from ready to fly...

This aircraft was discovered, along with another in derelict condition in India in the late 1990s. Despite having been built in huge numbers, very few survive. It has been superbly restored and is now airworthy, an incredible feat.

Seen at the Flying Legends Airshow at Duxford, this state of the art fighter, the F-35, 15-5125 displayed alongside a P-51, N351MX and a Spitfire LF VC, G-LFVC

A remarkable sight, these aircraft simulated the start of the 1968 film, the Battle of Britain, 'attacking' Duxford before being chased off by Spitfires. They are G-BWUE, G-AWHC, G-AWHH and G-AWHM. The aircraft are Spanish built versions of the Messerschmitt Me-109, though powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin engines

The 234 Sq markings on the aircraft are correct, as TD314 served with this unit in 1945.

A British Biplane built in 1937 performs at the Duxford Flying Legends Airshow. Numbers of the type manufactured totalled 747 with 213 of them Exported to 13 different Countries. (Canon 40D 285mm)
