A very rare aircraft in this part of the world

An ex Red Arrow aircraft, XS101, owned and flown by a tax exile millionaire in the skies over Bedforshire at weekends. Now on the Australian register as VH-XSO at Melbourne.

A block 25F Fighting Falcon of the 31st FW, 308th FS 'Knights' is turning short final.

F-ODSX was leased by Garuda from Mexican operator La Tur from 1990 to 1994. The aircraft name "Mexico" was retained despite it not being a Garuda destination.

This 757 was leased to KQ by AWAS from 12.89 to 5.93 and then went to TAESA in Mexico. Later converted to package freighter and joined Icelandair Cargo in 8.05 as TF-FIE then Cargojet in 3.14 as C-FKAJ

The MD-11 may be well known, the MD-12 rather less so. This Polish design first flying in 1959 was intended as an Li-2 replacement, the second of two prototypes being evaluated by LOT. Although quite promising no further progress was made. A third example, seen in this photo before the paint weathered away, was built as a photo-surveyor. Again there was considerable interest but the programme was halted by the crash of the first prototype in 9.63

VH-EWJ entered service in September 1990. It was transferred to Ansett New Zealand as ZK-NZM in 1995.
