Owned by an excellent T-6 pilot always present on local airshows. Those Garrett turbines were one of the noisiest I ever heard from a a plane this size !!

This is one of the earliest registrations in El Salvador. It came brand new in 1953 and is still flying in pristine condition. 210hp mod installed on 2017.

I think this is the only PA-25 remaining in action as cropduster in this country. Many years ago, there were hundreds of these active.

It was tricky to get a good frame. This airplane has been waiting for 10 years to fly again.

Look at that. Champions were common cropdusters in the area in 1960s, but many complained of its low speed characteristics, so they modified the rudder fin to ensure more yaw authority. I have only seen this modification in El Salvador and in a single Guatemalan of the same type.
