Birmingham Executive Airways started scheduled service to Oslo FBU from Brimingham in 1988, and this was my first shot of the ariline, as it is taxing out for a rwy 24 departure back home.

Built 1971, ex N7631Q and D-IEAW when registered LN-AFA in July 1981 for Ascor Flyservice A/S at Fornebu. Operated until Ascor went bankrupt in May 1991. First flight January 25th 1988, and delivered new to SAS February 10th 1988 as the second of two MD-83s, named "Erik Viking". June 22nd 1991 transferred to Scanair and named "Puff". December 1991 rr to SE-DPI still for Scanair.. September 23rd 1993 SE-DPI leased to Venus Airlines. January 11th 1994 SE-DPI SAS "Balder Viking" March 11th 2003 N861GA Allegiant Air. Auugust 2018 wfu and stored at Opa Locka from September 2003. August 24th 2018 N861GA World Atlantic Airlines, stored at Baranguilla September 2021. August 1st 2023 moved to Blytheville. Seen rahter new afte arriving rwy 06 from CPH.

Arriving with prime minister Benjamin Nethanyahu for negotiations with the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat who had arrived previously. These negotiations were part of the so called Oslo Peace Process.

Built 1976, November 25th 1976 SE-GRP. May 10th 1979 OY-CBV Business Flight. August 1st 1979 LN-KCI Scanex Air. March 31st 1981 OY-CBV Business Flight, opf Norsk Air 1984 -1987, hence the colours. Later F-OGPQ and F-GLIF for Trans Helicopere Service from July 12th 1990. Written off April 27th 2010 after landing short of runway at Arlit, Niger. Seen at the Oslo Fornebu, parked in April 1988. My first photo of this fine P-51D Mustang, originally built in 1944, opb USAAF as 44-73877. 1951 9279 for RCAF, 403sqc at Calgary. 1958 sold to the first civil owner as N6320T. April 29th 1968 N167F Finefrock, Oklahoma until damaged September 1st 1969 while taxing at air show in Texas, collided with another Mustang. Rebuilt and rejoined with Finefrock until 1980. September 1980 sold to Scandinavian Historic Flight, and rebuilt at Fort Colllins, Colorado. First post-restoration flight made in 1985. 2001 repainted, still N167F..
