This Lysander, on display at the Canada Aviation & Space Museum, is a composite build from three unidentifiable/uncertain frames undertaken as a Canadian Centennial project by the RCAF at Winnipeg, MN. This Firefly was built in Hanworth, England in 1945 and TOC by No. 825 Squadron, RCN in Nov. 1946. The following year it was transferred to No. 826 Squadron and served for the next two years in Nova Scotia and Manitoba, as well as on HMCS Warrior and HMCS Magnificent before storage and being sold to the Ethiopian AF in 1954. It was rescued from open storage at Asmara, Eritrea in 1993 and now resides in the Reserve Collection of the Canada Aviation Museum.

This Spitfire was built at Castle Bromwich in 1944 going on to fly with a Polish squadron and 416 Sqdn RCAF. It was damaged by AA fire around D-Day and stored by the RAF from late 1944 to 1946. Post-war it served with the Dutch and Belgians before being w/o in an accident in 1954. After restoration as a target-tug it was bought privately privately puchased and donated to the CASM in 1964.
