This S-2 originally designated the BuNo.147641 but was delivered to the Royal Netherlands Navy in 1960 as 151. It was on outside display at the Aviodrome at Lelystad Airport in this fake KLM Technical training Department colour scheme but the weather seems to have taken its toll and it is now in the restoration hangar, along with DC-2 PH-AJU, awaiting refurbishment.

This magnificent 1928 built aircraft is part of the wonderful Aviodrome Museum at Lelystad. It is the former OY-ASE, ex SE-ASE ex OY-DED ex CH-159. It was given a four second exposure at f.8 and a flash was open-fired towards the tail once the shutter was open. Many thanks to all of the staff at the Aviodrome.

Tony Fokker famously flew his Spin (Spider) over his home town of Haarlem on 31 August 1911. This aircraft is an original 1913 Spin, brought to Holland when Fokker moved his business here and restored in 1925 when it was given c/n 4464. The Germans took it to the Berlin aviation museum during WWII and then stored it in a safe place in Poland from where it was returned to Holland in the 1980s. It apparently made a few hops in the early 1990s. This is not the replica built by Fokker in the 1930s.

Owned by the Fokker Heritage Flight and beautifully restored by them in 2005. It was originally delivered to Aer Lingus as EI-AKA in 1958. Aer Lingus was the first customer to receive F27s from Fokker, and this example was the first one to be delivered. Other registrations carried by this aircraft were PH-FAA, PH-FSF, ZK-NAH and finally VH-NLS. Following restoration this aircraft did a few flights in this livery in 2005 and 2006, but as of late 2006 it is a static exhibit at Lelystad.

The Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 was a 1917 two-seat floatplane fighter with an unusual downward-pointing rudder. Following an emergency landing by a German W.12 in neutral Dutch waters, the type was licence-built by the Van Berkel company in Rotterdam as the W-A. This replica was added to the Aviodrome collection in 2017.

The C.V was numerically the most important Fokker aircraft of the interwar years. This original Dutch army aircraft survived WWII - the May 1940 German airborne landings around The Hague are depicted here. Unfortunately the Aviodrome still haven't fixed her cowling or maybe the engine buffs are having it their way.

The F.II was Fokker's first airliner, still designed at the German factory in 1919. The cabin seated four passengers; another person could sit next to the pilot in his open cockpit.

The Trompenburg company from Amsterdam, maker of the Syper cars, started building aircraft in 1915. Its Spyker V.1 and V.3 fighters were unsuccesful, but the V.2 trainer was produced in quantity for the Dutch army and navy. This replica has an original Thullin engine and propeller, but is a reworked Sopwith Pup replica. No national markings were worn on the fuselage by the navy's early aircraft, but the early Dutch 'orange meatball' marking is just visible on the lower wing.
