Entry number 1 in the Netherlands register, and one of the first two aircraft owned by KLM. It is unclear why the register did not start at H-NAAA. Aircraft built at Schwerin in Germany, formerly D-57. Soon refitted with a Siddeley Puma engine as seen here. To Sabena in 1927 as O-BAIC. Photo from: Nederlands Instituut voor Militaire Historie

The F.II first flew in October 1919 and was the first of a long series of commercial aircraft from the Fokker Aircraft Company and was the first Dutch type operated by the fledgling KLM. This exact replica is on display inside the Aviodrome museum at Lelystad.

The F.II was Fokker's first airliner, still designed at the German factory in 1919. The cabin seated four passengers; another person could sit next to the pilot in his open cockpit.
