Behind the Netherlands Government Air Transport C-54 is PK-DSC, one of four Skymasters delivered to the Netherlands Indies air force in 1946. Given civil registrations, they were briefly used by the resurrected KNILM airline for a Batavia (Jakarta) - Los Angeles service through Biak, Kwajalein and Honolulu - total flying time, almost 50 hours! Stored at Falcon Field between 1997 and 2002. Later acquired by Brooks Air Fuel (Alaska), but the aircraft never left the airport. It was scrapped around MArch/April 2010, althought the cockpit and forward fuselage were preserved. Those parts were seen at Concrete (WA) in July 2012.
