Later acquired by Brooks Fuel for spares. It was scrapped in 2010 at Falcon Field with the nose section being saved. Cancelled from the FAA registry in Jan 2014.

It was scrapped around MArch/April 2010, althought the cockpit and forward fuselage were preserved. Those parts were seen at Concrete (WA) in July 2012.

Built in October 1945 for US Navy as 56549. Retired at D-M AFB 06.73. Registered as N99AS in 12.75. At date of image the Skymaster was owned by Air Response.
