In service at an air tanker, N7027C flew from Newcastle and Casper, Wyoming. It crashed at Casper on August 28, 1964. The hill behind the aircraft excludes both airports. Converted to a flying hospital for the Argentinian health department. Aircraft shows both its delivery registration and its former US registration which has been crudely applied. The aircraft had actually been disposed of by the South African air force as scrap after a crash in Tanzania (then Tanganyika) in 1945. Reregistered LQ-MSP in Argentina before joining the Argentine navy. Last known preserved in the campsite of the Trade Employees Union of the city of Paraná, Argentina as T-103.
