This Hs 129 tankbuster was captured without wings in Tunisia on 7 April 1943. It is seen here with the Foreign Aircraft Evaluation Center at Freeman Army Airfield. On 24 July 1946 it crashed due to fuel leakage. Remains still exisits and owner Martin Mednis of Sydney, Australia found the aircraft was a composite of c/ns 385, a B-1, and 388, a B-2, due to a welding mishap on the production line.
