One of CP Air's older 737s, delivered March 24, 1969, that made it to the merger that formed Canadian Airlines. It was sold to AIG Leasing in May 1988 and placed with Braathens SAFE. The airliner would eventually return to Canada in 1998 when WestJet put it in service as C-FGWJ. It was retired from flying in October 2002 and used as a ground trainer.

This DC-9 started with Air Canada as CF-TLN (in service 1967 - 1982). The last of four Air Canada DC-9s bought by Altair Airlines, it was not delivered before Altair ceased operations. Sold to PSA in June 1983, it would become N707PS. Continuing with US Air after the two carriers merged in 1988, it became N916VJ. Stored at Marana, AZ in September 1997 when retired, it was scrapped in April 1999.

I've only found a patchwork of history for this 1972 Beech Queen Air. Pictured with Air North, the airline acquired the aircraft shortly after it was imported into Canada in the summer of 1992. It next went to Venture Aviation Services for about a year in 1997, leaving Canada in 1998. Next solid information show it as N169BB in 2002 and it was shortly after intercepted by the Honduran Air Force running drugs. Forced to land at Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport on the island of Roatán, Honduras, the aircraft was impounded there with a crudely applied registration.

In 1989, Air BC leased six BAe Jetstream 31s from British Aerospace for Air Canada Connector code share feeder services in Alberta and British Columbia. This aircraft, formerly with Air Toronto, was placed with La Ronge Aviation in September 1995. Merging with Transwest Air in 2002, it would work with Latitude Air Ambulance for most of 2005 before going to Peace Air in December 2005. The aircraft was damaged enough to be written off when it touched down short of the runway at Fort St John, BC on January 9, 2007.

Originally ordered be Hawker-De Havilland Australia, the registration VH-IMA nor the delivery was taken up. Allocated registration CF-YYU in 1964, it does not seem to have appeared on the Canadian Civil Registry until 1971 with Victoria Flying Services. C-FYYU by the time West Coast Air bought it circa 1979 - 80, it merged into the Air BC fleet in 1981. On July 30, 1981 enroute to Ocean Falls, BC, the aircraft crashed in the bush eight miles short of destination. It had run out of fuel and stalled trying to stretch a glide to a small inlet.
