After 9 months of hard work by BAHF volunteers, C-54D N9015Q makes her first flight since August 2014. After completing an uneventful one hour test flight, the aircraft landed safely at the airport. The next day she departed, under the able command of Tim Chopp, for Walterboro, South Carolina where the interior from tornado damaged N500EJ will be transferred. After a June 2021 paint shop appointment in Arkansas, she will join the airshow circuit.

In 1965 it was transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement which sounds like it was deporting illegals. Finally in 1966 it was taken over by the U.S. Department of Justice so would have been conducting prisoner transfer flights. On 8 August 1967 it was wrecked landing at San Antonio/TX when the gear retracted on roll-out.
