Assigned RAF serial WW591 but this was not used. It made its first flight 4 October 1955 as Danish Air Force 47-401 and was delivered in January 1956. In 1960 the serial was changed to E-401. It was withdrawn from use in March 1974 and was stored at Aalborg (noted 1975-1981), Gronholt (noted 1986) and Skrydstrup (by 1987). In May 1988 it went to the Danmarks Flyvemuseum at Billund. After this closed in 1997 it moved to the Danmarks Tekniske Museum in Helsingør. In 2008 it arrived at the Danmarks Flymuseum at Stauning, painted as 47-401 again.

Built as an F.4 for the RAF, XE665 was soon converted to two-seat configuration and moved to the Royal Navy, serving 764 NAS before joining the Yeovilton Station Flight in blue and white 'Admiral's Barge' colours. Later users were 759 and 738 NAS at Brawdy, ADTU and FRADU Yeovilton, 237 OCU Honington, but she finished her service career back at FRADU. Acquired by Delta Jets at Kemble with registration G-BWGM and passing to Midair, she was repainted in this plain silver scheme and is now looked after by the Buccaneer Aviation Group in this spot next to the AV8 cafe.
