Turning towards Los Llanos air base. This Seahawk of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 79 is based at Naval Station Rota (Spain). HSM-79 "Griffins" established a new detachment stationed at the Spanish base since 16 June 2022. The HSM augments Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe, providing support to FDNF-E guided-missile destroyers stationed in Rota. The squadron adopted its name from two decommissioned squadrons that focused on aircraft carrier-based anti-submarine warfare: Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 9 "Sea Griffins" and the Sea Control Squadron (VS) 38 "Red Griffins".

Polish Air Force (PLF) 244 roling to the platform at Eindhoven after a direct flight from Bielsko-Biala Kaniow Airfield (southern Poland) for a fuelstop. The 2007 built Skytruck left for Londen-Luton about an hour later. Although unmarked, the nicely camouflaged STOL light cargo plane belongs to 33.Baza Lotnictwa Transportowego (33.BLTr), 3. Skrzydło Lotnictwa Transportowego (3.SLTr), 14.Eskadra Lotnicza (14.el), or in English the 33 Transport Aviation Base, 3 Tactical Airlift Wing, 14 Air Air Squadron. First flown on 2 May 1974 and delivered to the Army Air Corps (AAC) only twenty days later, on 22 May 1974. The Gazelle AH1 was stored at Shawbury on 27 June 2005 up to June 2009. Then it was moved by road to Middle Wallop on 2 June 2009 where it was stored GDSH at Middle Wallop. Here it was stripped for spares and eventually the hull was scrapped by 2010.
