Reportedly built for Slick Airways in 1957, but that fell through and TALOA took it on as a leaser. After Lufthansa it served with numerous carriers and was seen at Gatwick (EGKK) as CF-WWH with World Wide on 7 August 1965. Final resting place was Miami (KMIA) where it was withdrawn from use in 1977, per Photo ID 23172, then used as a fire trainer until scrapped in 2002.

Probably the most photographed DC-6 in history and this is the 33rd upload on this site alone. Originally built for Maritime Central Airways as CF-MCK (re-used on a Dart Herald). Here it has recently been imported and the MCA livery over-painted and modified with eagles etc added. Supposedly this was carried out at Blackbush in the open air. After a long and well documented history, it was preserved at the South Wales Aviation Museum, St Athan (EGSY) in 2021.
